The guide

Position
11°11.42'S 152°01.54'E
Depth
5–6 m
Getting in
Clear runs from either entry waypoint.
Bottom
sand with some low coral
Ashore
No permanent village but a fishing camp - thatch shelters, fish-smoking racks, non-potable water and a small garden. A family group lives here much of the year and moves to Brooker when food and water run short. Weather-bound fishing families can be very generous.
Water
The fishing camp's fresh water is not drinkable (Totem 2012).
Notes
A good weather-driven landfall at the western end when you can't lay the eastern islands.

This guide is free for everyone, sailor or not: explore the islands and watch our episodes right where they were filmed. The two of us made it from our own visits, footage and a lot of late nights over the maps.
